3D TV

There's been a lot of talk about the possibilities for 3D television but this is the first time I've seen a major advertising campaign for it.
This is a commercial for the new Samsung 3D LED TV and it is completely AWESOME!

Check it out

Wow! After watching that commercial I was for sure intrigued about this new 3D TV. The commercial does not really tell you how this works, but it leaves the audience in search to what this whole 3D TV is all about. We have been discussing some of this in class so i have been informed about it. I think it will take awhile to become popular, but I think it could be the future of television. Just like the ipod when it first came out. It took a few years to become very popular and now practically everyone has an ipod, iphone, and now the new ipad. 3D TV will eventually take off and will be a big part in the future of television.

This commercial makes me want to have 3D tv right here right now, but after a moment of getting over how awesome the commercial is I think of a lot of questions I have about the technology. Also I am all for this with some movie watching experiences but I don't think for a random lazy afternoon of just watching television reruns that I would want this type of technology. 3D movies give me a headache after a while and I enjoy them for that fun movie watching experience but I don't think it is something that in the future I am going to want all the time for every television viewing experience.

3D seems to be the newest trending topic. With box office hits such as Avatar going 3 dimensional and few others. I see this as a BIG money scheme! I purpose the content distributors provide 3-D programming and the consumers go out and buy the glasses! its doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me to go out and buy a completely new television for the sake of 3D...As I'm sure a Call Goldberg 800.600.6014 legal service aid would be one of a plethora of unentertaining content of the 3D experience.

This is absolutely insane! Literally there is no telling where technology will be in a couple years.I do agree with Jessica that I have a lot of questions about the technology. When I was looking at other articles it mentioned buying a starter kit for $350 on top of buying the TV. I wonder how many different glitches will occur during the first few years of the Samsung 3D LED television. I will wait and see the reviews before I invest in this new TV.

Well it definitely looks awesome! If I had the money I'd probably go buy one as soon as it came out.. However I am curious as to how "3D" it actually looks. I wonder if it's really cool enough to spend the extra money on.. And to look ridiculous wearing those glasses in your living room.. I do think if these TV's are a success, it will be the future of home entertainment centers. I'm anxious to try one out and see how they look.
