Blogs promote the exchange of ideas. I've used this blog for several semesters to get students talking about media industry topics. Articles you read, post and comment about should deal with media programming topics, and this is a wide-open arena—programming developments, traditional and new distribution channels, technology developments, job and career matters, regulation (FCC?), program performance--including the new fall television season. I hope you’re beginning to get the picture.
Disney has come up with an Alice and Wonderland Fashion line. The cloths are inspired by the Tim Burton Film that will be released on 1 June 2010. Its interesting that Disney which is geared towards Children is now Making Cloths for adults as well as kids. The Thought of Wearing Alice and Wonderland Fashion makes me ask the question "Is this a good move?". I mean while adults my love the fabulous art work featured in the Alice and Wonderland Movie, will they enjoy wearing it? As a company, is this a big risk or a even better new trend. As a girl who loves to read fashion magazines I think it is a good move on Disney's part. I know that all of latest magazines and especially formal dresses are producing what is called Alice in Wonderland inspired looks. The dresses have very bright colors mixed together that look like something right out of the movie. I know that it has even hit Florence in the formal dress shop Cherry Tree Lane. They are selling many dresses that are a part of this whole new look.
